Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and advance translation projects and define/adhere to SLAs and turnaround times (TATs)
  • Clear communication and experience in change management and team building
  • Comfortable with software technology and platforms to advance translation processes
  • Demonstrates capacity for independent problem-solving and knowing when to escalate

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing coordination of language resources (internal and external) — translated content validation capacity, turnaround timelines, etc
  • Continuous feedback and learning to iterate workflow improvements
  • Create, maintain, and share best practices for enabling translation/localization (e.g. avoid accidental costly translation of text within images; instead scope and create a DTP workflow)
  • Quarterly glossary and style guide updates
  • Maintenance and quality evaluation of machine translation outputs
  • Support translation software POCs
  • Execute hands-on translation tasks with Web S&T and Web Publishing
  • Report bugs and requirements for fixes/improvements
  • Investigate and support in-language video content needs
  • Advance AI translation scope into top-performing video content
  • Scope, design, and execute language-based playlists
  • Test the multi-language content support feature (wh Internal enablement and coordination of platform processes and vendor requests
  • Other miscellaneous activities as needed
