About The Position

The Translation Account Manager at EIKON Group is responsible for leading a team that manages the localization of content for theatrical releases and VOD platforms. This role involves coordinating translation work for Hollywood studios and major VOD platforms, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining relationships with freelance translators and companies. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 2-5 years experience in a localization role.
• Digital cinema and localization or subtitling experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• Keen to learn about technology and operational production workflows.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage workload in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Professional, positive and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and able to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and schedule translation orders worldwide.
• Monitor resources' progress throughout the production process to ensure timely delivery.
• Source, identify, establish, and maintain relationships with freelance translators and companies.
• Build a network of translators/linguists.
• Establish and maintain commercial and legal relationships with all resources, including creating and maintaining contracts, confidentiality, and financial terms.
• Monitor translator rates and invoices.
• Liaise with translators to ensure delivery requirements are met, providing updates as required.
• Administer EIKON's online translation software.
• Provide administrative support to a wider team of Account Managers working on content creation.
• Bill completed projects, including project reporting and tracking.
• Assist with troubleshooting and oversee resolution.
