About The Position

Instructing children in activities designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, physical and intellectual growth needed for future learning. Develop lesson plans aligned with the WDMCS Kindergarten Standards; deliver small and large group instruction and facilitate learning through play; collaborate with other teachers, other professional staff in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and respond to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. Responsible for providing a learning environment which supports each student in achieving his/her potential. Fulfill professional responsibilities and engage in professional growth.

Requirements

• State of Iowa teaching license with K-6 Elementary endorsement required.

• Iowa Teaching License (When available)
