Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks.
  • Ability to organize people and projects with strong communication skills.
  • Patience and understanding while assisting individuals with disabilities.
  • Computer and data input proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources or social services from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Two or more years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create a culture where clients, referral sources, stakeholders, and personnel are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Implement quality management practices to ensure compliance with confidentiality and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate students’ work-based learning experiences, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and weekly timesheets.
  • Supervise and support the VR Summer Employment Specialist.
  • Facilitate the full integration of students into the worksite and mediate as necessary.
  • Gather information about students during the intake process to understand their strengths and needs.
  • Oversee referrals, team member assignments, and manage the hiring process.
  • Complete required incident/accident reporting and ensure timely communication regarding operational changes.
  • Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement documentation and report revenue and expenses.
  • Engage in networking and community partnership activities to enhance service offerings.
  • Provide direct services to clients as needed, including managing a designated caseload.
