About The Position

IFG is seeking a Transitions Specialist to assist new advisors transferring their book of business to IFG. Supporting advisors in producing, sending and processing the necessary form requirements to move their client accounts to IFG. A dynamic role that involves performing under pressure, while dealing with an influx of volume and innovatively shifting tasks in various aspects of the transition’s progression. Allowing the advisors to conduct traditional business practices as they migrate and settle into IFG’s platform. Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university
  • Series 7 and/or Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Technical proficiency with financial software and data migration tools; experience with NetX360, Envestnet, DocuSign, DST, Albridge, and DocuPace is a plus
  • Understanding of data integrity and reconciliation processes
  • High level of accuracy and care when handling sensitive financial data and documentation
  • Ability to pivot quickly in response to regulatory changes, client needs, or internal process updates
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Compliance, Operations, IT, and Client Service teams; being a collaborative team player is essential

Responsibilities

  • Advisor Onboarding Support: Assist new financial advisors with preparing and submitting required forms to transition their book of business to IFG, including Brokerage, Advisory, Third-Party Manager firms, annuity carriers, and mutual fund companies across various account types.
  • Cross Department Coordination: Collaborate with Licensing & Registration, Commissions, Compliance, Insurance, and Operations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and high-quality service for new registered representatives.
  • Document Review and Quality Control: Serve as the subject-matter expert for transition documentation. Prepare, distribute, and review account transition packets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Packet Submission and Account Setup Review and validate transition packets, establish accounts on custodian platforms, set up banking instructions, and initiate asset transfers.
  • Broker-Dealer Change Management Support advisors through broker-dealer change requests. Maintain tracking logs, forward documentation to sponsors and carriers, and conduct follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
