SAIC has an opportunity for a Transition Engineer to guide, and provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory services for a government customer in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will: Assist the government oversee, guide, and manage technical efforts for transition activities delivering vital mission operations capabilities. Efforts provide enterprise-wide, high-impact systems engineering and project management services. Anticipate, assign, drive projects and customer requirements to closure; continually assess tasks, realign/reprioritize/augment assignments as appropriate. Work with government managers to plan, organize, execute, and track efforts. Maintain awareness of government’s evolving needs and proactively provide analysis, insights, recommendations to improve delivery of services and/or exploit opportunity to enhance process, resource effectiveness, or efficiency. Provide technical support to government contacts. Identify and communicate status, risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies for transition activities. Promote and facilitate collaboration with government, SETA team members, and other contractors; across the enterprise, to ensure success of transition activities. Develop assessments and staffing products for a variety of audiences, convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership.
