About The Position

As an Operations Director, you’ll assist clients with developing and implementing operations modernization and improvement initiatives for the Operations Transformation Practice – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. From day one, you’ll be empowered by the greater Advisory team to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently. Your day-to-day may include: Aid cross-functional teams in the delivery of major transformation initiatives within the realms of operational efficiency programs, digital and AI enabled operations management solutions, product and operations modernization programs incorporating business opportunity assessment, solution strategy, design, program management, implementation of enabling technologies, and organizational change Design and execute enterprise cost reduction programs for corporate clients and private equity sponsored portfolio companies. Perform engagement management responsibilities that could also include performance reviews, task delegation, project financials, deliverable quality review, and client management across industries Assist with the development of solution content, whitepapers, and/or other thought leadership material Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and become a trusted business advisor Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives while portraying knowledge and confidence Manage and minimize engagement delivery risk by proactively identifying issues and recommended courses of remediation to engagement teams Manage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews Employ change and transformation methods, data, analytics, operations design and fintech to improve operations performance Lead and support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities at clients Create, interpret, and transform data and analytics into actionable performance insights Meet or exceed targeted utilization Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Data & Analytics, Engineering, or related field required
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level required
  • Professional certification in a relevant field required: Lean Six Sigma, Master Black Belt, Black Belt, Green Belt, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Turnaround Professional, etc.
  • Client project delivery experience within multiple industry sector such as Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy, Transportation & Distribution, Construction, Retail, etc.

Responsibilities
