The Position Transfer Truck Operator Job Summary Purpose of Position: OPERATE AND UTILIZE EQUIPMENT FOR PLANT SUPPORT AND CLEANUP.
Requirements
- CDL License Class A
- Previous experience in operating machinery and equipment in an Industrial environment.
- Communications skills including verbal, non-verbal, listening, interpreting and understanding instructions.
- Consulting effectively with associates concerning work and schedules.
- Ability to work as part of a large team.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to use hand and eye coordination in the operations of the equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Sitting, climbing, stooping, lifting, checking, visual inspection, hearing, listening, operation in a safe manner according to work instructions
Responsibilities
- Perform all pre-shift and safety inspections of assigned equipment
- Operate equipment for efficient plant clean up and support.
- Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner
- Keep assigned piece of equipment clean and in good working condition
- Obey all safety operating and work guidelines
- Perform other duties as required
