Transfer Driver
About The Position
U-Haul Company is seeking a Transfer Driver to transport equipment to and from repair shops, ensuring high-quality care for customers. This role involves supporting the U-Haul community by maintaining the company's large fleet of trucks and trailers. The Transfer Driver will use U-Haul's proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to use mobile transfer programs
- D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul
Responsibilities
- Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
- Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment.
- Maintain a driver log.
- Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
