About The Position

As a Transfer Driver for Darling Ingredients , you are responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transfer raw product from our transfer station in Blue Earth, MN to our processing facility in Sioux City IA, then returning back to the facility in Blue Earth MN. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday. Start Time: 3:00pm can be flexible. Work Hours Per Day: 10+

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A driver's license with Tanker Endorsement.
• Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Responsibilities

• Pick up raw materials as needed; weigh in raw material when returning to processing facility.
• Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
• Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
• Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily.
• Maintain DOT log on onboard computer.
• All other duties as assigned.
