About The Position

UMB Institutional Banking encompasses various areas including Corporate Trust, Distressed Debt, FDIC Sweep, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Investment Banking, Investor Solutions, and Public Finance, serving the entire institutional marketplace. As a Transfer Agency Operations Rep, you will be responsible for all data entry processing for incoming shareholder requests. This includes setting up new accounts, processing transactions, and handling various account maintenance items. As you develop your skills and become more proficient, you will have the opportunity to join the research team, which involves direct follow-up with clients on outstanding issues. The Transfer Agency team operates in a fun, relaxed environment with a casual dress code, where individuals manage their work while having team support. The role experiences a busy season, which is managed collaboratively as a team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
Six months transaction processing, office or customer service experience
Significant transaction processing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, preferably in a financial service or mutual fund environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of financial services industry
Six months related financial experience; can include internship experience

Responsibilities

Utilize your high attention to detail to properly process transactions to achieve complete accuracy
Provide good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members/manager as well as clients
Be flexible and willing to adapt to meet shifting priorities
