About The Position

Transdisciplinary Studio encompasses video, performance & installation art, and interdisciplinary projects. Responsibilities include managing & maintaining video, photography, and digital media equipment, and assisting with making and installing student projects. Transdisciplinary Studio has a variety of equipment checked out to students & you will oversee that, as well as aid in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Training will be provided on how to give simple how-to demos to fellow students and collaborate with the Gallery Coordinator and Lab Manager to help primarily with exhibition installations involving digital media equipment. Other duties include researching latest trends in digital media, data management, and social media. The candidate should be comfortable in using and experimenting with electronics, possess attention to detail, be very organized, responsible, patient and have some design and/or digital media experience. Punctuality and problem-solving skills are a plus. Must be available to work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-4pm , with availability in the morning on those days as needed. This position will average up to 10 hours total per week. Pay rate $16 per hour.

Requirements
