Adjunct Teaching - Dept of Art - Studio Art / Interdisciplinary
About The Position
Teach a range of courses for the Department of Art: ART 133 - Intro to Art: 3D ART 210 - New Genres ART 217 - Sculpture Fundamentals ART 353 - Time-Based Art ART 357 - Digital 3D ART 358 - Sculpture ART 480 - Advanced Studio Adjunct faculty will use department-approved syllabi and materials for the courses, and will mentor the students in their class(es). In addition to teaching the courses assigned, adjunct faculty are expected to attend department training meetings. Please attach your updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and Mission Alignment Statement (instructions below) to the faculty application. Note: Failure to attach the required documents may result in your application not being considered. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
Requirements
- Minimum BA/BFA degree required; Terminal degree (MFA or equivalent) preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
- Minimum one year of university-level teaching in Art, or equivalent related experience.

- Relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
