About The Position

Roxbury is currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and located in our HIM Medical Records Department. The Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for reviewing patient records and completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience required.
