About The Position

Mosaic’s Transactional Liability/M&A division is looking for a summer intern in New York to assist our team on M&A, tax, and contingent liability insurance placements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in process
• Self-starter
• Intellectual curiosity
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise software tools

Responsibilities

• Managing workflow on deal opportunities that contemplate use of representations & warranties, tax or contingent liability insurance, including assisting in managing the underwriting process and negotiating confidentiality agreements, non-reliance letters, and other ancillary documentation
• Analyzing mergers and acquisitions-related documents, including reviewing financial statements, business background information and purchase agreements, and researching issues related to M&A transactions
• Preparing quotes and policy documents for insurance of M&A, tax and contingent liability transactions
• Collaboration with marketing team to develop materials and presentations
• Coordinating and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and clients
