Requirements
- Strong interest in technology companies and the European tech ecosystem as well as solid understanding of SaaS business models and the metrics that matter (ARR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC)
- Foundations in corporate finance — financial accounting, valuation and deal mechanics
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (financial / data analysis) and PowerPoint (executive presentations)
- Fluent English (C1 level) — you'll be writing and presenting materials for international stakeholders
- Practical familiarity with AI tools that support everyday knowledge work (research, drafting, summarizing)
- Availability for a minimum of 3 months
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship or project experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing M&A processes by evaluating acquisition targets (conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to assess strategic fit and value creation potential)
- Prepare supporting materials for deal reviews
- Assist in coordinating PMI workstreams across newly acquired companies
- Track integration milestones, flag risks, and help maintain project timelines
- Help prepare monthly business summaries for the Group's ownership (K1 Investment Management)
- Support preparation of materials for Supervisory Board meetings
