About The Position

Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans.â¯ Our Servicing experts are the borrower's primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff.â¯ The Department consists of six main functional areas: Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance.â¯W&D's Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch's highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-. The primary responsibility of this position is to complete the daily payment postings and disbursements for a $100+ billion loan servicing portfolio. This includes obtaining various lockbox files from the bank to post loan payments in the servicing system and working with various functional groups within the servicing department to process escrow disbursements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to competently complete multiple tasks simultaneously with an appropriate attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under tight time constraints independently and within the department.
Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial real estate loan servicing a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the Tran Proc email inbox ensuring received items are completed in an accurate and timely basis.
Maintaining and updating the Unposted and Unapplied reports daily.
Initiating the Check Stop Payment process on servicing system.
Process loan payoff postings in the servicing system.
Fund principal balance and input initial escrow deposits for recently closed loans in the servicing system.
Ensure month end escrow interest calculations are posted both timely and accurately.
Other transaction processing tasks as assigned by management.
Prepare and disseminate returned Items report on daily basis.
Responsible for all ACH auto-debit payment draft transactions: New setups, ACH information edits/Cancellations.
Reconcile and post daily ACH auto-debit payment drafts.
Other transaction processing tasks as assigned by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
