Hiring for an in-person role in San Antonio, Texas only What you’ll get to do: Deposit and Transaction Processing: Responsible for retrieving loan payments from mail envelopes, sorting and manually preparing missing loan coupons. Process daily deposits, including verifying amounts and resolving discrepancies. Handle ACH transactions, wire transfers, mobile deposits, and check processing. Handle deposits, withdrawals and payments accurately. Monitor and reconcile deposit accounts for accuracy and compliance. Assists the Collections and Loss Recovery Departments with exception item postings of loan payments and ensures charge-off accounts are properly processed. Prepares end of day cash letters that are transferred through a secure file transfer site. Downloads the incoming check file and other check processing files directly from the Federal Reserve through a secure connection. Receive and process financial items such as checks, deposits and loan payments. Sort, scan and balance items for electronic transmission. Prepare and transmit image cash letters to the Federal Reserve. Error resolution, research discrepancies and correct errors promptly. Review and resolve exceptions such as non-posted items, overdrafts, and chargebacks. Process stop payments, levies, garnishments, and subpoenas. Account Support Specialist: Respond to inquiries regarding deposit accounts, transaction history, and discrepancies. Provide technical support for online banking and remote deposit capture. Collaborate with branches and other departments to resolve operational issues. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on deposit activity and exceptions. Maintain and update procedures manuals for deposit operations. Archive deposit records securely in compliance with legal requirements. Responsible for opening, maintaining and servicing retail and commercial deposit accounts. Validate account accuracy and acquire required documentation for compliance. Processes account changes, renewals and closures.
