About The Position

The Transaction Data Analyst role is responsible for maintaining, improving, and investigating the fidelity of card network processing data for the technically and operationally complex traditional processor and card-linked offer (CLO) partnerships. It ensures seamless and continuous transaction feeds for each RN restaurant in the portfolio to provide optimal client and member experience. This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days presence in our Chicago office

Requirements

  • College degree or commensurate experience.
  • 5 years of business experience in the credit card processing industry.
  • Critical and analytical thinking— enjoy working with numbers to find patterns and insights in card-linked offer data.
  • Highly motivated to deepen expertise in the payments industry and build the skills needed to assume increased responsibility developing into a Subject Matter Expert role.
  • Desire to grow into a future leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Salesforce Lightning.
  • Ability to navigate databases and use Excel as an analytical tool (VLOOKUPs, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • SQL and Python experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor technically and operationally complex credit card processing environments to ensure alignment and proper tracking to designated SLAs; troubleshoot network health issues.
  • Monitor credit card processing information using tools such as Salesforce Lightning, Domo, and Excel.
  • Provide analytical insight on projects and their impact to the business at large.
  • Proactively identify issues with current processes and follow through on implementing solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Partner, Data Science, Technology, Operational, and Support teams.
  • Conduct research when issues arise regarding member credit card data.
  • Pursue and maintain best practices for card processing management, including compliance.
  • Audit credit card processing information input for accuracy.
  • Actively engage in learning the payments ecosystem, demonstrating curiosity and initiative in mastering knowledge around card network processes and emerging technologies.
  • Willingly step in to assist team members, leadership, and cross-functional partners to ensure business continuity and success

  • This is a full time, exempt position, and the base compensation for this opening in Chicago is expected to be $85,000-$100,000 annualized, depending on level, candidate experience, skills and other factors. This position is eligible for a 7.5% bonus with a total comp of $91,375-$107,500.
