The Comptroller's Taxpayer Services Division is looking for a Training Unit Manager (Revenue Administrator IV) to join our team in Case Management and Training Section. The successful candidate will be self motivated, detailed oriented, a decision maker and most importantly, a leader of the Training Unit. The main purpose of this position is to manage and direct the daily operations of the Training Unit within the Case Management and Training of the Taxpayer Services Division. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, develop, and prepare training manuals, and materials for the Training unit. Proofreading all training materials for up-to-date accurate information. Supervise the development, update, and delivery of tax training curriculum, and ensure the efficiency of operations in the Training unit. Responsible for personnel matters of subordinates and employees within the Training unit. The incumbent will accept and respond to calls and cases from taxpayers, agency employees, managers, supervisors, and directors. Incumbents who successfully complete their probationary period can be considered for telework. This position is considered one of the agency’s emergency essential personnel and is to ensure that the unit is adequately staffed during normal work hours and is available during emergency situations. PLEASE NOTE: Employee must be able to work in a full-time capacity: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 pm. Leave may be limited during certain times of the year due to high volume events, projects or special assignments. Evening and weekend work may be required especially during peak times of the year. Work may involve special physical demands such as lifting 25 to 35 pounds. Employees are unable to prepare tax returns outside of the requirements of the job or work for private accounting services. Employees must be able to tolerate an occasional uncomfortable or unpleasant experience presented by upset or irate taxpayers. Employees are eligible to telework as approved by management. This position is considered one of the agency's emergency essential personnel.
