About The Position

The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all training activities at the station, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and recurrent training. This role ensures all new hires are properly trained and that training records are accurately maintained and compliant with airline standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
  • Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of safety and compliance requirements (OSHA, DOT, FAA)
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom and on-the-job training for all new hires
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training files, records, and certifications
  • Ensure timely completion of all recurrent and refresher training for existing employees
  • Keep in communication with airlines in reference to new training standards and compliance with current specifications
  • Develop training schedules and coordinate logistics for training sessions
  • Generate and submit training reports as requested by Station Management
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
  • Support a culture of compliance, safety, and professional development
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
