About The Position

Drive and facilitate the creation of a training culture that supports employee growth through technical training and soft skills development. Works closely with corporate to develop training content to increase operational effectiveness. Designs and implements comprehensive training plans, ensuring all aspects of factory training are effectively managed. This role requires spending at least 20% of time on the production floor, actively engaging with operators and management to drive hands-on learning and continuous improvement. Provides oversight to the Training Specialist, ensuring effective coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of employee training programs. This includes maintaining accurate training profiles to guarantee timely completion for all new hires and ongoing development for existing employees. Oversees the coordination and facilitation of new-hire immersion, annual training, and all certification training in partnership with each department. Prioritize translation of training materials to accommodate all primary languages based on current needs. Safety-related functions: attend safety committee meetings, coordinate compliance requirements with learning management system, annual trainings and conferences Initiate actions supporting continuous improvement. Define and implement systems and procedures, and lead and participate in process improvement projects to identify new, innovative ways to achieve plant objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 Years in manufacturing or training certification.
