Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Training Supervisor at our manufacturing plant in Jacksonville, IL (East Plant). As a Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for identifying training needs and mapping out learning and development plans for individuals, teams, and organizations. This position will organize training curriculum and facilitate training sessions. The Training Supervisor analyzes training progress and suggests additional training modules as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education or HR-related degree
  • 4+ years of related leadership or training experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in HR, training or manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of training, including scheduling participants, distributing training materials and conducting training.
  • Lead Orientation Program, including providing orientation sessions.
  • Audit effectiveness of trainers; provide feedback/coaching.
  • Ensure training documents are current; recommend changes where appropriate.
  • Identify trainings needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses of individuals and groups.
  • Translate requirements into trainings that will develop employees for the next step in their job skills development or career path.
  • Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans in partnership with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in employee development.
  • Develop or identify resources to provide or upgrade training to meet evolving needs.
  • Monitor delivery of training and overall effectiveness.
  • Maintain tracking and filing of all employee training documents; follow- up with deficiencies.
