Talent Development: At UCF, Talent Development is more than training — it is about unleashing potential, strengthening leadership, and shaping a culture where people thrive. We believe leadership is not about position, but about influence, trust, and the ability to bring out the best in others through service. Our work is grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and continuous growth. We lead with clarity, build strong relationships, and create spaces where every voice matters. Talent Development is on a journey to reimagine how UCF develops employees across the full lifecycle — from onboarding and supervisory skills to leadership growth and team effectiveness. Our focus is on building practical, research‑based programs that align with UCF’s mission and values while responding to the evolving needs of our workforce. The Opportunity: Investing in the growth and success of our employees is at the heart of UCF’s mission — and Talent Development plays a critical role in making that possible. The Training Specialist II plays a meaningful role in advancing how UCF supports, grows, and leads its workforce. This position supports the implementation and sustainment of enterprise talent initiatives by delivering impactful training, coordinating program operations, and supporting the adoption of performance management and leadership development practices across the university. Talent Development is seeking a Visiting Training Specialist II to help ensure Talent Development programs are delivered consistently and thoughtfully across UCF — transforming strategic priorities into meaningful learning experiences that strengthen leadership capability, support employee growth, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
