About The Position

Instructs individuals and groups in theory and application of truck driving skills.

Requirements

• Truck driving experience is a requirement.
• Must have a strong work history.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Minimum 2 years experience in the industry.
• Must have at least 6 months OTR driving experience within the last 2 years with a 53-ft trailer or more.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations is beneficial.
• Experience with Prime Driving Training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and explains handling of automobile in emergencies, driving techniques, and mechanical;
• Supervises individual's performance of routine driving and parking requirements;
• Observes individual's driving habits and reactions under various driving conditions to ensure conformance with vehicle operational standards;
• Tests hearing and vision of individuals;
• Teaches motor vehicle regulations and insurance laws;
• Candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull minimally.
