About The Position

Title: PA Lehigh Valley Training Manager Classification: Exempt Scope of Position Provide strategic and operational leadership in the development of internal and external training opportunities for programmatic participants, staff, and the public in order to provide optimal delivery of services to the Lehigh Valley and CareerLink staff Essential Functions Facilitate team meetings to ensure timely dissemination of information and decision making Establish professional working relationships to develop community support Ensure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriately according to policy and guidelines Provide positive vision, direction, and communication for required operational changes and to resolve issues Ensure appropriate and sufficient communication with program staff, Program Director and the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley to provide seamless delivery of services · Manage instructional team responsible for workforce development services to ensure each participant receives quality job preparation Strategize and implement processes for improvement to meet or exceed contract benchmarks Track and generate required reporting to evaluate and assess program and grant performance Develop and evaluate logistical processes for targeted recruitment and outreach events in partnership with the Director and CareerLink leadership Oversee and monitor training approval, invoicing and compliance processes Aid in writing and development of contracts · Provide Program Director with regular updates and requested reports as needed · Lead strategic planning for staff development needs Track funding sources for all WIOA Programs and Grants in regards to training Other opportunities as available Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or related area is required Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public administration, human services or a related field, with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in workforce development EDSI is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or related area is required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment
