The Training Leader is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving the site training program to ensure associates and leaders are competent, compliant, and consistently executing standard work. This role builds the training infrastructure (processes/SOPs, systems, documentation, trainer capability, and reporting) and leads a team that delivers training across shifts while driving measurable improvements in readiness, performance, and consistency

Requirements

  • Experience leading training programs in a distribution or operational environment
  • Strong process documentation and SOP development skills
  • Experience training hourly associates and leadership teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to influence across shifts and departments without direct authority
  • Flexible schedule to support multi-shift operations
  • Experience working an adult learning environment/feedback delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and improve training processes and SOPs as needed
  • Train associates on operational, safety, and awareness processes
  • Learn and maintain working knowledge of all job functions within the distribution center
  • Lead Train-the-Trainer initiatives for leaders and training champions, particularly for off-shifts
  • Develop and manage a centralized training completion matrix and repository
  • Support cross-training of associates beyond immediate work areas
  • Play a major role in new-hire orientation and onboarding
  • Assist with PEAK support and alignment as needed
  • Assist with SEAL support and alignment as needed
  • Support Awareness Training coordination, tracking, and compliance
  • Partner with shift leadership to ensure training execution across all shifts
  • Provide flexibility to adjust shifts on an ad-hoc basis to support training needs
  • Assist with verifying daily on-site labor aligns with Workforce planning when needed
  • Perform other duties assigned.
