Job Dues and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions) The training coordinator will be responsible for creating a cohesive training program that is extensive and covers all necessary guidelines and regulations (PPE, DHS, HIPAA, and any other mandated protocols). This will be in addition to existing training guidelines and protocols already standing. Coordinate between site supervisors and recruiting specialists about training scheduling and continued coaching guidelines. Create a site specific training manual, comprehensive and detailed to use as a tool while training new staff members. Comprehensive on-site coaching to prepare the behavioral health technicians and related staff members in hands-on training in areas such as; medication passing, drug testing, client discharges, safety and emergency procedures, client clinical charting, client rounding, cleaning and sanitizing, and kitchen duties and expectations. Work with the management team to ensure that training procedures are up to date and are at their approval when navigating between sites and different supervisors. Report to the Human Resources department for updates on training qualifications and training expectations as they change and fluctuate annually and bi-annually. Write templates for email correspondence, Procentive, and other related electronic communications. Shadow new technicians on-site during their scheduled shifts at the designated facilities as well as at an administrative level. All other duties as assigned by the Operations Specialist Carry out and attain the Mission, Vision and Values of the company. Miscellaneous Responsibilities and Duties 1. Maintain knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the Behavioral Health Technician and Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor roles. 2. Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills. 3. Ongoing demonstrated ability to develop Behavioral Health Technicians. 4. Knowledge of 245 statutes, MDH statues, and all other governing bodies 5. Excellent organizational management skills. 6. Practice a high level of confidentiality. 7. Fill in at the site in the absence of a Technician Supervisor
