Summary: The Training Coordinator will provide leadership and management for training tasks that are being performed by the contractor.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles as applied to process modernization projects.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of configuration management, ITIL Framework, change management, IT asset management, and IT service request fulfillment.
  • Ability to provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and other forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Knowledge of FITARA, SDLC, FEA, Capital Planning and FISMA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Training, Education, Information Systems, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience coordinating training programs.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing tools/methods to bring Human Centered Design into practice (e.g., Journey Mapping, Affinity Mapping, Storyboarding, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to support training requirements, which includes drawing input from the stakeholders, systems analysts, training specialists, logisticians, and government resources.
  • Coordinate with the customers to ensure that their training needs are being met.
  • Maintain and update training procedures and surveys as needed and participate in agency-wide training planning.
  • Prepare reports and monitor training tasks in support of the contract manager and the government sponsor(s).
  • Ensure training standards and procedures are followed, reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
  • Prepare the field for the adoption and use of developed software products.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
