SummaryThe Global Food Commercial Solutions Team is looking for a Commercial Training Content Intern to support the organization in three key areas of Commercial Training including, but not limited to, product, customer, digital and regionally focused training tactics across all global regions. This person will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and gain valuable exposure to many teams across the Simplot company.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university
  • Strong academic record (suggested minimum 3.0 GPA), with a bachelor’s degree emphasis in Sales, Marketing, Business, International or Hospitality
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams with strong collaboration skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Learning Management Systems beneficial
  • Understanding of Rise/Articulate system beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Training Team in the development of training materials for online and virtual training modules
  • Work with Product Managers to update current training modules
  • Develop new training content for identified priorities
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
  • Learn about the Foodservice industry
  • Partner with various internal departments such as Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Culinary, Demand Planning, Production, and Logistics to build content
  • Research industry and marketing trends and develop and suggest potential training needs
  • Identify or follow-up on new operator sales opportunities with ability to assess the opportunity and match to product and other solutions, e.g., merchandising, recipe, culinary, etc
  • Support current and potential training activities
