About The Position

As a Training & Apprenticeship Program Administrator for PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Williston, North Dakota, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver a high‑quality training experience by coordinating logistics, supporting instructors and learners, and maintaining accurate training information and records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and work with many different personalities on various projects.
  • Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Documented ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in office administration

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update all apprenticeship records, ensuring accuracy across spreadsheets, reports, and filing systems
  • Track apprentice attendance, compliance documentation, and program progress; reconcile data with workforce reports
  • Support onboarding of apprentices by preparing packets, verifying required documentation, and issuing training materials
  • Support audits by compiling and organizing required apprenticeship documentation
  • Coordinate training logistics, including class scheduling, instructors, materials, and attendance tracking
  • Coordinate onboarding and training setup for new hires, including issuance of training materials and verification of certifications, licenses, and required documentation.
  • Assist with training administration, including class sign-ups, roster management, and communication of schedules and updates
  • Maintain training records and ensure completed training is properly documented in internal systems
  • Collect, verify, and track employee certifications, licenses, and required compliance documentation
  • Support NCCER processes by organizing paperwork, scheduling assessments, and maintaining testing records
  • Manage training inventory, including books, materials, and supplies; track usage and coordinate ordering as needed
  • Prepare and distribute training communications, including notices, flyers, and sign-up materials
  • Coordinate setup and organization of training areas, materials, and equipment
