At National Grid, we keep people connected and society moving. But it’s so much more than that. National Grid supplies us with the environment to make it happen. As we generate momentum in the energy transition for all, we don’t plan on leaving any of our customers in the dark. So, join us as a Group Crisis and Training Exercise Manager and find your superpower. National Grid is hiring a Group Crisis and Training Exercise Manager reporting to the Director of Operational Resilience. As a Group Crisis Training and Exercise Manager you will lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of a comprehensive training and exercise program for the executive Group Crisis Management Team (GCMT) and Crisis Support Team (CST). The role helps to prepare stakeholders to respond and recover from crisis events. In addition to core responsibilities, the role requires an experienced communicator to collaborate with Business Units and Group Functions (BU/GF) to ensure exercise objectives and scenarios are aligned to escalation procedures, response plans and structures across National Grid. We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements. We’d hope to see you in one of our US offices at least once a month (located in Waltham, Brooklyn and Melville) and you’ll also need to be flexible to travel to the UK occasionally to meet with some of the team.
