About The Position

Shift: F - Shift; 5:45AM-6:00PM Only work 3 (36 hours) to 4 (48 Hours) days per week! Compensation & Benefits: Medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage. 401k w/company match. FLSA: Non-Exempt.

Requirements

  • High school education or GED equivalent. Must have worked at Rockline on the production floor for a period of one (1) year.
  • Must be willing to gain knowledge and skills to advance through the trainer phase program. Must have good communication/teaching skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to train other people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in job tasks, team meetings, and when dealing with others.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and training material. Good mechanical, math and problem-solving skills. Must successfully complete classes and training sessions required for continued education such as but not limited to 6S classes, train the trainer, excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom and hands on training in all essential functions of operating converting equipment.
  • Teach / perform administrative skills.
  • Provide additional training when necessary.
  • Facilitate operators to operate, adjust, certify, document, and maintain equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency as determined by the training plan.
  • Continues to develop skills on all machines using training materials.
  • Create, update and maintain training plans and training materials for associates.
  • Evaluate employee skills as determined by the training plan.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
  • The candidate has a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility shall be considered a part of the candidate’s performance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested
