Trainer - Warehouse Automation is responsible for identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others. Trainers will develop and use agreed upon metrics to measure the success of associates during and after training. Metrics results will be reported weekly. What your day will look like: Assures that the employees get the training needed to meet the day-to-day activities and the long-term planning. Plans, develops, and provides warehouse training and staff developmental programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops Works closely with warehouse leadership to clearly identify training needs and develop plans to meet those needs. Provides the materials and resources that motivate personnel to learn Develops training status and metrics report for regular communication to department leadership Ensures that employees participate in all required warehouse training Analyzes training needs to recommend new or improved warehouse training programs or modify and improve existing programs Conduct or arrange for ongoing personal training and development as needed Organize warehouse training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials in addition to testing and evaluation procedures Responsible for monthly Safety Training completion for all warehouse associates Conduct PIT certification and verify PIT inspections are completed daily for applicable associates Partner with department leadership in preparation for new hire interviews Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
