About The Position

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Trainee Tax & Compliance to join their Finance and Accounts team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting across industries. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Understanding of direct and indirect taxation concepts.
• Awareness of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, etc.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with IRIS portals.

Nice To Haves

• Preference for candidates enrolled in CA, ACMA, ACCA, or similar certification programs.
• Ability to use ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of financial information in the required format for tax audits.
• Assist in collecting financial documentation to support financial substance.
• Prepare reconciliations of financial records to ensure alignment with tax liability settlements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT and WHT tax returns on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Coordinate with tax consultants on various tax-related assignments.
• Collaborate with the Finance and Procurement teams on tax-related transactions.
• Assist in maintaining the tax calendar and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
