The Trails Crew Leader manages all aspects of their crew's performance, works alongside their crew to complete trail projects in the field, coordinates projects, timelines, and outcomes with Trails Division staff, and manages crew housing. Essential Functions Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. All Cleveland Metroparks employees must be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required. Provides field-based supervision and support to crew members. Manages trail projects, work outcomes, and crew dynamics. Facilitates team operations including maintaining tools & equipment and managing work sites. Collaborates closely with the Trails Coordinators and the Trails Program Manager to ensure smooth operations and efficient project execution. Documents progress on key projects, including photographs and written reports. Proactively manages risk by creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and evenings as required. Models Cleveland Metroparks mission and values to crew members and the public. Regularly travels to various work locations, including remote locations to support projects and work alongside crew members.
