About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US , is looking to hire a Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required) ! The Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required) is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trailer fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required) will require a high level of proficiency and working knowledge working on Reefer units, PMs, and A/C. Note, you must have your 608. Required Reefer experience repairing the Refrigeration unit (Diesel Engine) on a Trailer. (Heavy-Duty Trailer Repair). Due to the nature of the repair flow, we could repair some Trailers (DOT Inspections and Repairs) if Reefer Units are in working condition. Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.) Working Conditions: Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise. Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Ability to move and position heavy objects Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles Ability to work outside in various weather conditions. Requirements

Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
608 Certification
Experience with PMs and A/C
Must have a valid Driver's License- Class C
Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Ability to move and position heavy objects
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
