About The Position

The Trailer Mechanic in City of Industry CA will be responsible for timely repair and maintenance of light, medium, or heavy duty Trailers to ensure a safe and efficient fleet of Heavy-Duty Trailers as well as managing employees and garage operations. Must have at least 3 years fabricating and repairing, flooring, doors, and panels on Heavy-Duty Trailers onsite. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise. Requirements

  • At least 1 year Ordering Parts, vending out Repairs and maintaining a service truck.
  • At least 3+ years experience as a Trailer Mechanic performing vehicle repair and maintenance, or 3 years fabricating and repairing, flooring, doors, panels on Heavy-Duty Trailers onsite.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
  • Knowledge of handheld scan tools and the process of diagnosing vehicles.
  • Ability to read schematics and be familiar with the process
  • Proficient computer skills: k nowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Responsibilities
