About The Position

Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility. Assembles trailers and components on shop floor or at work bench.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required
  • Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
  • Willingness to learn and dependable work ethic.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time
  • Physical requirements include lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, arm-hand steadiness, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, control precision, near vision, standing for long periods of time, and hearing sensitivity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints, instructions, directions, and sketches.
  • Position parts and subassemblies and assemble components.
  • Ensure all parts are fitted and installed correctly.
  • Communicate any known shortages to team leader.
  • Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
