About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Signal Technician with excellent troubleshooting and interpersonal skills. This position requires flexibility in managing multiple project and services-related tasks, as well as good communication skills. As a Traffic Signal Technician, you install, maintain and repair traffic control equipment. You maintain electrical systems and microprocessor-based controllers including relays, wiring, conflict monitors, signal suspension cables, poles, communication modules, underground conduits, related lighting, and vehicle detection. You handle calibration, troubleshoot circuit boards, run diagnostic tests, analyze data of traffic flow and design timing of signal control devices. You also review inventory to ensure you have the tools and replacement parts needed. Requirements

• Driving record allowing approval to utilize Company vehicle
• Must be able to read traffic blueprints
• Must be able to interpret plan set layouts.
• Must be able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment in order to install signal items and install power service.

Nice To Haves

• IMSA Level II Certification (preferred)
• Crane Truck Certification (preferred)
