The Signal Technician will construct, install, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain traffic signals, school zone flashers, and streetlights. This role assists with setting up controllers and installing vehicle detection systems, communication equipment, and other traffic signal equipment. The technician also assists with signs and markings responsibilities, performing work related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of traffic control signs, pavement markings, sign fabrication, guardrail, and permanent barricades. This position involves operating a variety of light and heavy equipment, hand, and power tools.
