About The Position

Gear Up is seeking a hands-on, seasoned Traffic Coordinator to oversee product flow in and out of our two fulfillment centers in the United States. Working cross-functionally, you will be responsible for domestic and international carrier management and maintaining rules based package routing to ensure we are on time for game time and within budget.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a high volume small parcel environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in export shipping management required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable ERP.
  • Experience with configuring rules-based SaaS shipping platforms.
  • Proficient in MS Office; Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to learn and navigate new processes and computer applications.
  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily track and trace for critical shipments.
  • Coordinate LTL deliveries to our distribution centers.
  • Generate bills of lading and coordinate outbound LTL and FTL shipments.
  • Create and file export documentation.
  • Manage and report on small parcel on time metrics.
  • File carrier claims for lost packages.
  • Audit freight bills and recoup overcharges for missed SLAs.
  • Review regional small parcel routing and update shipping software to reflect best practices.
  • Review and report volume performance against carrier agreements.
  • Document, communicate and train the shipping teams on best practices.
