About The Position

JOB DETAILS: · Full Time · Day Shift- Night Shift/Weekend work may be required · Wages starting at $21.00/hr. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for setting lane closures on high traffic projects in accordance with MUTCD guidelines as well as, North and South Carolina DOT specifications. Also, at the direction of Traffic Control Coordinator, Foreman, or Construction Superintendent. · Responsible for safely directing traffic through lane closures and construction project areas. QUALIFICATIONS: · Individuals must be dedicated to always working safely. · Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas. · Preference given to current Traffic Control Technician Certification holders. · Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary. · Team player. · Willing to be trained in various traffic control techniques in accordance with MUTCD guidelines and North and South Carolina DOT specifications. · Willing to assist crew with manual labor duties, as needed. · Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
