How Will You Make an Impact? As a Traffic Analyst I at our St. Petersburg, FL facility , you will analyze logistics operations and recommend best practices to optimize material flow and transportation efficiency. You’ll monitor shipments, resolve exceptions, and ensure accurate system transactions to maintain inventory integrity and support smooth supply chain operations. Location: On-site at our St. Petersburg, FL facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
  • Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Windows-based systems and Jabil software packages.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic math skills, including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret graphs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in standardized situations with minimal variables.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all necessary manual system transactions for materials functions and transaction types.
  • Monitor shipment of materials, products, or finished goods between the site and other Jabil locations or partners.
  • Interact with internal departments to expedite shipments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Business Units, partners, and providers to resolve exceptions as they occur.
  • Process freight claims for lost or damaged freight.
  • Research and resolve shipping and inventory exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Perform Information Systems transactions to accurately reflect material movement.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Perform Stop-Ship segregation and maintain status updates.
  • Provide accurate inventory reports to customers and management as needed.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
