About The Position

Supports resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. As a Trades I - HVAC, you will: Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management Execute daily tasks and assigned HVAC projects while supporting other trades as needed Perform preventive maintenance on split systems, PTAC units, condensers, and air handlers Install or replace HVAC components, such as condensers, thermostats, fan motors, and minor components Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals effectively Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS) Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for HVAC work Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces Follow safety guidelines and practices Identify and report potential safety hazards on the property Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. Requirements

  • Technical certification or HVAC license required
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
  • Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
