Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 10 years in trademark and copyright prosecution.
In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws in various jurisdictions.
Experience with IP docketing systems.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Document Management Systems.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications with the USPTO and WIPO.
Correspond with foreign agents regarding trademark filings and related activities.
Communicate with clients about the status of trademark matters.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trademark activities.
Conduct preliminary searches for trademarks and review relevant reports.
Capture and log billable time in the firm's timekeeping system.
Stay updated on changes to intellectual property rules and regulations.
