The Trade Room Line Cook plays a key role in bringing the restaurant’s concept to life—preparing and executing dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food experiences.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standard
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow recipes and execute consistently
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks
  • Ability to safely use kitchen equipment, tools, and knives

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
  • Execute food production in a timely manner during service periods
  • Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and plating of all dishes
  • Set up and maintain assigned workstation with proper mise en place
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
  • Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and storage as needed
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
  • Perform quality checks on dishes before they are served
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
