About The Position

The Trade Partner Manager is responsible for managing external vendor relationships related to the title and escrow services for Opendoor (third party title and escrow vendors) and OS National (title and escrow vendors), including Vendor Management governance, processes and performance measurement (SLAs, quality, cost). This role is the primary resource for interface and interaction between critical vendors and our operations in identifying improvement opportunities and handling escalated matters.   • 1-3 years’ experience: Functioning as a high impact communicator - communicate in a focused and compelling way that captures and holds others’ attention and stimulates others’ thinking and actions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors related to the delivery of core title & escrow products and services including, but not limited to, title search providers, title data providers, notary services, lien search providers, document preparation providers and other core service providers as well as the third-party title and escrow vendors to Opendoor.
  • Establish standards and procedures for evaluating vendor performance.
  • Monitor vendor compliance to agree upon Service Level Agreements and other contract requirements.
  • Collect qualitative data from Business Leaders related to the vendor performance and relationship.
  • Provide cost analysis data on vendor spend.
  • Lead vendor performance reviews.
  • Assist in the management of transaction level issues.
  • Work with vendors to develop action plans to address vendor performance issues.
  • Partners with vendors to understand OSN’s expectations and coaches on performance improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate vendor overall and highlight/escalate vendor risks.
  • Evaluates vendor costs and champions cost savings initiatives with vendors.
  • Central point of contact for roll-out of policy and process changes to vendors.
  • Central point of contact to keep vendors informed of volume forecasts.
