About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Trade Compliance Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping global business strategies by providing essential trade compliance guidance. You will leverage your expertise in export controls to facilitate trade compliance and manage export licensing processes. Your collaboration with various departments will ensure that compliance with U.S. export requirements and company policy is upheld. The successful candidate will drive improvements and provide training on compliance practices while minimizing risks associated with trade compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of ITAR and EAR export licensing and compliance experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Broad understanding of ITAR, EAR, and Federal Trade Regulations.
  • Proven leadership in process improvements and training initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Experience in a multi-cultural team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and submit DDTC and BIS export licenses to regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Draft, track, and manage complex DDTC authorizations.
  • Assist with processing export shipments and trade compliance matters.
  • Assess and classify products and software for export control.
  • Maintain export/import files and records in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide import/export control training to company employees.
  • Support additional projects such as disclosures and contract reviews.
