About The Position

As our next Trade & Compliance Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements, safeguarding documentation integrity, supporting accurate tariff classification, and strengthening internal controls for logistics and compliance operations. Your expertise in Customs, Trade Compliance, Tariff Classification, and Documentation Control will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and documentation control.
  • Experience auditing customs documentation and performing tariff classification.
  • Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements, Certificates of Origin, Annex 24, and Annex 30.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing invoices and trade documents.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regional and corporate compliance teams.
  • Intermediate–advanced English preferred and intermediate–advanced Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Customs Brokers or Logistics & Compliance teams.
  • Exposure to PLM or classification software tools.
  • Experience in internal audits or continuous improvement of compliance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Audit import/export entries to verify tariff codes, values, origin, and quantities against supporting documentation.
  • Implement and maintain the tariff classification database in PLM or third‑party tools.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate documentation for customs adjustments (letters, protests, reconciliations).
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customs documents, invoices, and shipping records.
  • Support compliance programs by preparing Certificates of Origin and maintaining trade compliance databases.
  • Participate in internal audits and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance controls.
  • Update and maintain fixed‑asset documentation control.
  • Verify and reconcile Annex 24 and Annex 30 balances with the Finance department.
  • Provide compliance guidance on customs regulations, valuation, classification, and documentation.
